SkyShark™ is a medium-range, high-speed One Way Effector (OWE) drone designed to deliver decisive strike capability at low cost and high volume. Engineered for autonomous operation in GPS-denied, communications-contested environments, it delivers 20kg of modular payload over 250km with subsonic velocity exceeding 450km/h.
Designed and manufactured in the UK, and available commercially from August 2025, SkyShark™ is MGI’s response to the growing global need for rapid, scalable autonomous strike solutions. MGI also offers aligned countries the opportunity to manufacture SkyShark™ locally under license.
Autonomous Strike Capability – Pre-programmed flight and terminal phase targeting
Multi-Platform Launch – Operates from RATO, catapult, or short-runway
Sovereign Capability – Designed and built in the UK; increased scalability with under license manufacturing
GPS-Denied Ready – Terrain mapping based navigation systems proven for day/night operations in degraded environments
Affordable for Mass Use – Low unit cost enables high-volume deployment
Sensor-Agnostic Architecture – Proven technology insertion modularity for payload and guidance systems
Ease of Use – Powerful and intuitive operator GCS interface for planning, mission execution and review
Engineered for Speed – 450+ km/h speed enables fast and low flight profiles
F1 Engineering Innovation – Lightweight composite structure and rapid iterative development
SkyShark™ enables autonomous strike deep into contested battlespaces, including under active jamming and anti-access/area denial (A2/AD) threats. Capable of low-altitude, high-speed ingress, it supports operations across air, land, and maritime domains. Its simplicity, modularity, and high survivability make it suitable for persistent use in live conflict environments—without reliance on constant control.
Combined with swarm or decoy tactics, SkyShark™ increases the probability of target saturation, distraction, or degradation of adversary defences—at a cost point that supports tactical attrition.
